Bird Sighting Submission Form

Important note: You should complete the ‘name’ and ‘email’ fields if you are reporting scarce or unusual sightings. The society may wish to contact you for additional details and your sightings may be omitted from official reports otherwise.

Also, please ensure that complete the form in the correct format so that it can be processed promptly:

     Time -

  • Please do not use all capitals when typing - use capital letters for bird names.
  • Please ensure that all bird names are spelt fully and correctly - take care with hyphenated bird names, for example, Black-headed Gull.
  • If you are including the numbers of the birds seen then please put this before the bird name
  • Don't pluralise the species name - even if more than one bird is seen - this is just a house style.
  • Please put any additional notes in square brackets
  • Please do not use full stops or semi-colons to separate the species entered - just use commas
