Dunham Lakes - Curlew, Barn Owl, Common Tern, Oystercatcher.
High Marnham - Quail [calling, power station].
Collingham - 3 Green Sandpiper, 1 Spotted Flycatcher.

Thu 28th Jun

Lenton - Yellow Wagtail [Grove Farm playing fields].
Nottingham City Centre - Peregrine [young bird flying around near The Cornerhouse].
Gedling - 1 Hobby [seen hawking insects and then hunting House Martins over Lorimer Avenue at 13:30. The bird was seen to take a House Martin and then headed North East while being mobbed by Swallows and House Martins].

Wed 27th Jun

Arnot Hill Park - 6 Goldfinch [4 juvenile], 1 Grey Heron, 15+ Pied Wagtail [11 juvenile], 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 1 Sparrowhawk [male], 50+ Swift, 5 Willow Warbler.
Calverton - Springwater Area: 5 Grey Partridge, 3 Sedge Warbler, 1 Turtle Dove, 2 Kestrel, 30+ House martin, 1 Little Owl.
Nottingham City Centre - Peregrine [sadly, one young bird found deceased].

Tue 26th Jun

Bestwood CP - Pit Tip: 1 Meadow Pipit, 8+ Skylark, 1 Green Woodpecker [juvenile], 2 Willow Warbler, 1 Kestrel [male on fence post with prey], 2 Common Whitethroat, 1 Bullfinch [male].
Bestwood Mill Lakes - 1 Reed Warbler [on Reedbed], 1 Kingfisher.

Sun 24th Jun

Cotgrave CP - 2 Turtle Dove, Hobby [over to north], 8 Reed Warbler, 3 Sedge Warbler, 3 Chiffchaff, Blackcap, 5 Common Whitethroat, Lesser Whitethroat, 2 Willow Warbler, Garden Warbler, 2 Yellowhammer, 2 Common Tern.

Langford Lowfields - 1 Little Egret, Grasshopper Warbler, Hobby.
Collingham - Hobby, Green Sandpiper, Spotted Flycatcher.
Bunny - Kestrel [1 eating baby frogs], 2 Swallow, 3 Pied Wagtail, 3 Yellowhammer, 2 Chiffchaff, 20 Starling, 20 Rook, 5 Dunnock, 2 Common Whitethroat.
Holme Pierrepont - 5 Wigeon [Blott's Pit].
Colwick CP - Red-breasted Merganser [15:15 - a female or juvenile over Trout Lake], Red-crested Pochard [male], Black Swan, 3 Chiffchaff, 2 Garden Warbler, 4 Blackcap [2 males, 1 female, 1 juvenile], Willow Warbler, Sedge Warbler, 2 Green Woodpecker, 2 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 25 Lesser Black-backed Gull [mostly immatures on the Racecourse].

East Leake - Hobby [chasing Pied Wagtail around the bowling green].

Newstead Abbey - 3 Yellow Wagtail [pair feeding a juvenile, in field between Annesley Pit Top and entrance road to the Abbey from Newstead].

Mon 18th Jun

Lowdham - Red Kite [at approx. 50 feet height, drifting south above the A612, 200m south of the main roundabout].
Fountaindale - 2 Spotted Flycatcher.

Cottam - Hobby [adult chasing swift from Formula Works towards Cottam Flash].

Ilkeston [Derbyshire] - Red Kite [seen at 07:20 soaring low near the Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire border in Ikeston, slowly drifting off into Derbyshire].
Kinoulton - 2 Barn Owl [quartering the fields by the canal].

Nottingham City Centre - Peregrine.
Sherwood Heath - Grey Partridge, Yellowhammer, 3 Tree Pipit, 3 Great Spotted Woodpecker.
Sherwood Forest - 2 Cuckoo, 3 Blackcap, 3 Willow Warbler.
Budby Common - Stonechat [male], Whinchat [female], 2 Meadow Pipit, 3 Tree Pipit, Red-Legged Partridge, 5 Yellowhammer.
Collingham - New Workings: 1 Hobby, 3 Little Stint, 1 Dunlin, 1 Green Sandpiper, 2 Redshank.
Dunham Lakes - 1 Velvet Scoter [male on river between lakes and Fledborough Viaduct at 09:45].

Dunham Lakes - 1 Velvet Scoter [male on river next to small lake at 21:00].
Collingham - New Workings: 3 Little Stint, 1 Green Sandpiper.
Holme Pierrepont - Regatta Way: Hobby. A52 Pit: Teal [male], Goldeneye [female], 23 Common Tern, 2 Oystercatcher, Black-headed Gull [very immature bird flying], Blott's Pit: 4 Wigeon, Pochard [male], 3 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 3 Willow Warbler, Reed Warbler, Garden Warbler.

Sat 9th Jun

Attenborough NR - 2 Oystercatcher [including one chick, Sailing Pit], Wigeon [male on Tween Pond], 8 Reed Warbler, 4 Sedge Warbler, 4 Reed Bunting [Clifton Pit reed bed], Common Buzzard [Barton Side], Tree Sparrow [4 adult & 12 fledged juvseniles from the Kingfisher Hide]. Erewash Field: 3 Grasshopper Warbler, 2 Sedge Warbler.

Colwick Woods - 2 Chiffchaff, 3 Blackcap, Garden Warbler, 7 Bullfinch.
Colwick CP - 7 Blackcap, 2 Chiffchaff, 2 Garden Warbler, 2 Grey Wagtail [loop], 2 Red-crested Pochard [male &female on Trout Lake]. Plus: Red-eyed Damselfly [Hall Lake].
Collingham - 1 Dunlin, 1 Ruddy Turnstone.
Lound - Avocet [Bellmoor Pit].

Attenborough NR - 2 Oystercatcher, 3 Ruddy Turnstone [on island in centre of sailing pit, 50+ Long-tailed Tit [in a single flock], 2 Kingfisher [pair fishing from near the Sailing Club entrance], 6 Reed Bunting, 3 Skylark, 2 Common Whitethroat, Sparrowhawk, Goldfinch, Greenfinch, Chaffinch, Wren, Swallow, House Martin, Tree Sparrow, Common Tern, 2 Egyptian Goose.
Holme Pierrepont - 2 Reed Warbler, Sedge Warbler, 4 Garden Warbler, 2 Shelduck, Goldeneye [female], 12 Common Tern. Blott's Pit: 5 Common Tern, 3 Wigeon, 2 Oystercatcher.
Calverton - Fox Covert Wood 2 Woodcock, 3 Spotted Flycatcher, 7 Red-legged Partridge, 1 Tree Pipit, Garden Warbler, Blackcap, Willow Warbler, Common Whitethroat. Springwater Area: c.10 Grey Partridge, 2 Tawny Owl, 4 Sedge Warbler, 1 Common Buzzard.

Welbeck Raptor Watchpoint - 5 Shelduck, 1 Common Tern, 2 Black-headed Gull, 6 Greylag Goose, Tawny Owl [fledglings heard in wood behind the road], 1 Grey Heron, 6 Tufted Duck.
Sherwood Forest CP - 1 Cuckoo [male repeatedly flushed along bridleway near Budby, other males calling], Tree Pipit [many], 1 Jay, 4 Yellowhammer, 3 Green Woodpecker.
Nottingham City Centre - Peregrine.
Moorgreen Woods - 2 Coal Tit, 2 Chiffchaff, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Buzzard [possible juvenile], Tawny Owl.
Annesley Woods - 3 Common Crossbill [female & 2 possible juvenile, A611 section], Garden Warbler, Blackcap.
Annesley Pit Top - 2 Gadwall, Hobby.
Linby Trail - 4 Yellohammer, Lesser Whitethroat.
Kinoulton - Hobby [back of Pinfold Lane over the church, spiralling up on thermals then stooping and catching insects on the wing].

Fri 1st Jun

Sherwood Forest CP - 5 Woodcock [roding], Cuckoo [male and female heard near Budby Common].
Papplewick Moor - 3 Corn Bunting [a pair and two singing males], 2 Yellow Wagtail [Both male], 3 Grey Partridge [including a pair], 1 Red-legged Partridge, 2 Linnet [pair], 1 Yellowhammer [Male], Lapwing, Common Whitethroat, Reed Bunting, Skylark. Plus: Brown Hare.
