This page contains events for Nottinghamshire Birdwatchers as well as other events which may be of interest.

In particular, we now feature the events of Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust and Lound Bird Club, among others. Nottinghamshire Birdwatchers would like to express its gratitude to these other groups for allowing us permission to publish their events alongside our own.

If there are any events such as slide shows, bird walks etc in Nottinghamshire, you would like to see on this page then please send details to: Webmaster

Fair Isle

Thursday, 12th September 2013 to Sunday, 22nd September 2013

Organised by: Nottinghamshire Birdwatchers

We are planning a trip to Fair Isle in September 2013 to look for migrants (common, scarce and rare!).

Thursday 12th to Friday 20th will be on Fair Isle.

The birding will be led by former Assistant Warden Rebecca Nason.

Unfortunately this excursion will not be cheap, current estimate is around £1,300 trip (including return flights).

We are currently asking for registrations of interest, preferably by email, to: n.glenn@ntlworld.com.

Further details will be sent when these are received.

Once arrangements are finalised we will need to know numbers quickly to allow us to group book the observatory and obtain cheaper flights (probably the beginning of July 2012).
