Black tailed Godwit

This Black tailed Godwit was ringed in France at Sarzeau (Golfe du Morbihan) on the 26^th of October 2001. It has been well reported in the years up to the present when it was seen at Netherfields Lagoons, Nottinghamshire in July. It was seen by Darren Matthews who sent his sighting in to the Colour ringing co-ordination scheme run by the BTO. A few days later he received a reply from Guillaume Gélinaud giving the history of sightngs of the bird.

I don't know if the sighting in France in October 2002 and then other sightings back in Lincolnshire a few days later was a glitch or not.
