Thu 28th Apr: Kinoulton - Hobby,all evening from 7.45pm - 9.00pm, circling over High Street, Kinoulton, opposite the church, before wheeling away and hunting along the canal heading towards Owthorpe, perching occasionally and hawking for insects just beyond Vimy Ridge.

Wed 27th April: Moorhaigh (nr. Pleasley) - 3 Swifts going NW @1400
Wed 27th April: Lound - Drake Garganey on the old Lower Fly Ash Pit next to Tiln Wood and the River Idle @ 1400. Access to this pit can be gained along a Bridle Track south off Walter\'s Lane between the sheep fields and the old high banked c5 ash lagoon. Be very careful not to flush this bird if it is present and you must stick to the tracks.

Wed 13th April: Newton - An Osprey came low over Newton House Farm horse paddock at 18:45h, and flew due north towards East Bridgford. It looked a little bedraggled as it was shortly after heavy rain and it was mobbed by a crow. The observer\'s second Osprey in Nottinghamshire in 4 days!!
